A must is a visit on the "Kürbis Schmiede" - the homepage of my oldest brother Torsten. You can find many information about his very nice Pension in Alt Zauche / Spreewald and about Pumkins (Kürbis Schmiede = Pumkin Forge).
Much better you take a few days off and visit him there. Rent a room (nice rooms for affordable price), use it as base camp to explore the Spreewald (Info) and enjoy the nature plus the excellent food.

This is where I live since December 2005 and where Dyscem grew up - Cebu City.
Cebu is one of the provinces of the Philippines. It lies to the east of Negros Island; to the west is Leyte and to the southeast is Bohol province. It is flanked on both sides by the straits of Cebu (between Cebu and Bohol) and Tañon (between Cebu and Negros). Cebu Island is a long narrow island stretching 225 km from north to south, surrounded by 167 neighboring smaller islands. Cebu is known for its narrow coastlines, limestone plateaus, and coastal plains, all characteristics of a typical tropical island.
